Try the line from a survivor's phone
Each action sends the same webhook Africa's Talking would send, so you can test USSD, the call line and SMS without any accounts. Everything the system sends back appears in the outbox.
USSD menu
Silent, works on any phone without data, and leaves nothing in the call log or inbox.
Fastest path: danger alert
- Press Dial.
- Send 1 for English or 2 for Kiswahili.
- Send 2: I am in danger now.
- Type an area such as Dandora, or 0 to skip.

Call line
There is no menu. The line answers, listens, and asks one question at a time, the way an emergency call is taken. What the caller hears appears on the phone.
How a call goes
- Press Call. The line greets the caller in English and Kiswahili and listens.
- Pick a sample or type what the caller says, then Finish recording.
- Responders are alerted on that first sentence. The line keeps asking one question at a time.
- At the end it asks two questions in words, not keys: is this phone safe to contact, and does the caller want help reporting to the police. Answer “yes” / “ndiyo” or “no” / “hapana”.
Worth trying
- Finish recording twice with the box empty: a caller who cannot speak becomes a silent, critical alert.
- Answer in Kiswahili or Sheng: the line replies in the caller's language.
- Hang up after one sentence: the case is already open and escalates on its own.
Every question the caller hears comes from the same reviewed bilingual bank. With an AI key the model chooses which one to ask next; without one they are asked in a fixed order. Anything factual it says is reviewed text either way.
